About MP3 Players & Downloads
Many of our customers have asked about listening to our programs on their MP3 players. The problem is that, in order to fit huge amounts of material on such tiny devices, the MP3 format compresses the sound so that nine tenths of it is removed. The one tenth remaining comprises only the most "noticeable" sounds. So essentially it keeps only the mountain stream sounds and deletes the subliminal messages. It may sound the same but you should not expect any results.
The AIFF and uncompressed WAV formats can preserve all the sounds and, though our programs take lots of space, it is possible to listen to them on your computer's hard drive or on a portable music player which accepts these formats. Some MP3 players do. (AIFF is always uncompressed but WAV comes both ways, so if you use WAV be sure it is in the uncompressed mode.)
Do not attempt to expand a previously compressed file as the compression permanently removes data which is not restored by expanding it.
Remember that each Alphasonics CD carries over a million affirmations on at least 240 sound tracks, plus the NeuroSonic Attunement™, a separate technology comprised of a whole range of tones and frequencies. Because of their large file size, it is not practical for us to offer our programs as downloads from our web site at this time. Note that some small computer software applications may be downloaded, while larger ones are offered only on CD. Each of our audios is approximately seven times larger than the largest program normally offered for download from a web site.
